Loadcell Services is by far the largest supplier of South African manufactured load cells. Most of our wide range of load cells are available for delivery from stock, to satisfy the needs of the South African market.

We are concerned with the industrial applications of all electro-mechanical transducers such as load cells, pressure transducers, torque transducers and associated products. Our fields of interest include static weighing, force measurement, conveyor weighing and overload protection on conveyors and on cranes. In the iron and steel industry, in particular, we have substantial experience in roll force measurement and in monitoring of strip tension.

We have competent staff with many years of experience in product application, ready to offer free advice and assistance in the solution of any particular measurement problem, including on site discussions as necessary anywhere in South Africa. We can supply individual items of measurement, indication and recording equipment, or at the other end of the scale, undertake supply, installation and commissioning of complete measurement systems. This will often involve system design, including computer control and undertaking complete responsibility for a plant or process measurement and control system as a turnkey project.

Founded in 1979, Loadcell Services has built up a very large installed base of products in a wide range of industries including steel, mining, chemical processing, cement, pulp and paper, foods and general electrical and mechanical manufacturing. A large number of complete systems have also been supplied, installed and commissioned.
